This assignment demonstrates the need of fisheries managers to be able to apply a variety of methods and techniques used to manage fish populations and their habitats; apply the concept of ecosystem management to fisheries management activities; and how to analyze the regulations and issues (social, economic, ethical, and ecological) in the management and conservation of fisheries resources.
