Discuss  Is it possible to have knowledge which is not shaped by preconceptions or ideologies?

During the 20th century, philosophers sought to differentiate between science, and pseudoscience and illegitimate forms of knowledge. By developing a rigorous scientific method, it was suggested that we could create a method for knowledge production that would be reliable and therefore eliminate ideological influences. However, Latour and Woolgar (1979, p.3 5) have argued that “[o]n principle any alternative [knowledge claim] can be questioned…Alternative readings are always possible and any one reading can always be undermined or faulted”. Consider these positions and answer the question: Is it possible to have knowledge which is not shaped by preconceptions or ideologies?
