Another fantastic post from you! Your section on conflicting values within program evaluation, between clients and evaluators, made me think critically. According to Fink (2015), program evaluators who take the participant/community evaluation methodological approach will be immersed in the cultural/social values of a community of interest. My question to you is, if there is a conflict in values, what would be the best approach to rectify this conflict? Can people put aide their social/cultural differences for the purpose of empirical research?
